About Us

Our Story

Welcome to the OGF community! We are a group of fitness enthusiasts that was first founded by Eddie Smith. We came together in 2021 with a mission to promote healthy living and a sense of community in the St. Petersburg, Florida area with group fitness classes. 

What started as outdoor workouts at local parks quickly grew as more and more people ditched the typical indoor gym and hopped in. We are so excited to share that our community has grown so much that we now have a beautiful facility, an old gas station, that we’ve converted into an indoor/outdoor gym. We believe in the power of community and strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all fitness levels.

CLASSES WE OFFER

Programs tailored for all fitness levels.

MB Conditioning
The goal of metabolic conditioning is to elevate the heart rate, increase endurance, and improve overall fitness by combining elements of strength training with short, high-intensity bursts of cardio. These workouts will include a combination of bodyweight exercises, resistance training, and plyometrics, performed in a circuit fashion with little to no rest between exercises. Our MB Conditioning days will be performed at a faster pace, with higher reps, and will be designed to challenge both the muscular and cardiovascular systems.

Strength Focus
A type of exercise regimen that is designed to increase an individual's strength and muscle mass. The primary goal of this type of workout is to gradually increase the amount of weight that can be lifted for a specific number of repetitions, which leads to improved overall strength and power. The overall emphasis of a strength focus workout is on lifting heavier weights and gradually building strength over time.

Open Gym
Open gym is a time that provides a space for you to work out without the class setting.You will have access to a variety of fitness equipment and can exercise at your own pace and leisure within our open gym hours.

Saturday: 10am-1pm
